Raising The Roof and Funds at Two Charity Events

From the sparkling Payzone Glitter Ball to the star-studded Legends of Industry Awards, the team here at Andrew Wilson & Co has been fortunate to attend two wonderful events so far this autumn, in support of local charities.
In September ten of us enjoyed a night of glitz and glamour (and lots of glitter!) at the stunning Nunsmere Hall near Northwich, which hosted the annual charity ball and auction organised by our client, Payzone. This year's event raised thousands of pounds for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice in Winsford which provides end of life care as well as support for families and carers. We did our bit to tempt bidders to dig deep by donating two prizes for the live auction – a pair of Manchester United tickets as well as two VIP tickets to see Elton John in concert at Manchester Arena. We were ecstatic to watch as our Elton John tickets raised a whopping £2,000 for the charity.
In October we were delighted to once again show our support for the Legends of Industry Awards in its 70th anniversary year. As partnership sponsor, our parent company Cerberus Group turned out to celebrate the best of the best from UK industry, along with a variety of celebrity guests including legends from the world of business, entertainment and sport. It was all held in aid of children's charity, Variety, which supports children and young people who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged with wheelchair grants, sensory equipment, great days out and much more. This year’s event raised over an incredible £130,000.
