Despite the challenges the country is still facing and it being a difficult time for all, the beginning of 2021 has started positively for us here at Andrew Wilson & Co.
Although we're seeing less County Court Judgments and Sealed Writs of Control coming through, a pattern experienced across the whole industry since April 2020, debtors are still paying at a good rate.
Our Enforcement Agents are continuing to attend both residential and commercial properties to enforce whilst following COVID-secure guidance and wearing PPE, although we are currently not able to enter residential property.
There has been much talk in the industry, and on social media, regarding 'Virtual Enforcement' and entering into payment arrangements without visiting debtors. For us, it's pretty much business as usual, with our team continuing to achieve the best results for our clients by following our standard procedures i.e., if we do not receive payment in full or a reasonable offer of repayment within the 7-day notice period, we attend the property to recover the debt.
